With the next harbour master getting his head on a platter as a warning not to let any more ships suspected of carrying the plague anywhere near. Hanging was too good for that harbour master, he should have been hung, drawn and quartered. Turn after turn plague swept through my entire nation (and probably on to other nations), lost perhaps 50,000+ population across my provinces eek! The next turn plague broke out killing 1,000's of population (pretty nasty) but even more worrying every province ajoining that got merchants leaving due to suspected plague! Errrm not sounding good but no bad effects. We are now on Patreon Please check out our page We are very grateful for your support. The following turn, same province, I got merchants leaving, fearing plague outbreak. I thought wow thats harsh! Little did I know! That phrase spans two octaves: from two F's below Middle C to the F above it. My most favourite even so far was, I got a message saying my harbour master had been strung up (hanged) for letting a suspected plague ship dock. The more you know!Īll that being said, the game is extremely mod-friendly, so if some brave modder wanted to add in more orientations for each character, it'll certainly be possible.I love the story events too, those are the events with the book icon and unfold over several turns. Below is the list of connected realms in America and Europe. Unconcerned with their race's preoccupation with mechanical devices and mining precious minerals, Mountain Kings live only for battle. Wielding both enchanted warhammers and hand axes, these fierce fighters live to test themselves against worthy opponents. Adding a lot more assets would mean the sprite sheet is too large to be loaded as a single texture, and I'd have to think about how to optimise rendering and layout for switching between multiple sprite sheets. These lists include WoW Classic and Wrath of the Lich King Classic. The Mountain Kings, or 'Thanes' as they are known in Khaz Modan, are the mightiest Dwarven warriors under the mountain. There's also a perfomance consideration in that these hundreds of assets end up being stored in a single sprite sheet, which is one of the reasons the game happily runs at a smooth 60fps. A couple more frames or orientations would double that figure, and for that cost I'd rather include more content in terms of other races with their own unique assets and style. Unconcerned with their race's preoccupation with mechanical devices and mining precious minerals, Mountain Kings live only. That's 24 different assets for each of a couple of dozen professions that are in development currently, so around ~450 different assets just for clothing currently, that'll likely double by release, and that's just for dwarves. The Mountain Kings, or 'Thanes' as they are known in Khaz Modan, are the mightiest Dwarven warriors under the mountain. Currently each outfit/profession has a different set of clothing for each body shape (there's 3 each for male and female dwarves), which in turn need art assets for each of the 6 directions currently (though most mirror the left-right assets so it's usually 4 different directions in actual assets). Thanks Retropunch! I'm not completely sure what you mean by the extra frames here - do you mean more orientations for the characters to face as they turn around? It'd simply be too costly in terms of artist workload and assets at this point (as I'm not an artist).
